Kogi State Polytechnic Admission Requirements

To admission into the Kogi State Polytechnic (KSP), you will need to meet the following requirements:

  • You must be a resident of Kogi State.
  • You must have completed your O-Levels or GCE Ordinary Level examinations.

The Kogi State Polytechnic (KSP) is a public tertiary institution located in the state of Kogi, Nigeria. It was founded in 1978 and offers an undergraduate program in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM). The school has a total enrollment of 2,000 students.

According to the Kogi State Polytechnic (KSP) admission list released on Saturday, over 6,000 candidates have been announced as successful candidates for the January 2022 semester.
The cutoff was at 350 marks and out of the total number of applicants that wrote the admission test, 4,788 candidates were declared as successful. This makes it a tight competition as only 1,000 seats are available in the polytechnic.
Candidates were given 24 hours to register online after receiving an invitation letter from KSP. With such a tight deadline, some unlucky candidates may not have been able to make it through due to missed opportunities.
The first batch of students will be boarding their buses on Monday morning for a two-week orientation period at the polytechnic before commencing with their coursework.
